Parasite, que ganó a mejor elenco se convirtió en la primer película de idioma extranjero en ganar dicho reconocimiento, mientras que “Bombshell”, “Marriage Story” y “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” también lideraron algunas de las categorías de cine.
Por parte de la televisión, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” ganó la mayor cantidad de galardones.
También Robert De Niro fue reconocido con el premio especial Life Achievment Award, gracias a su carrera en la pantalla grande y a sus logros humanitarios.
